Solubility of a Gas in a Liquid




1. Remove the cap from a bottle of soda.
2. Immediately fit the opening of a ballon over the top of the bottle. Shake the
bottle several times. Note any changes in the ballon.

3. Heat the bottle of soda very gently by placing it in a pan of hot water. Note any
further changes in the ballon.
